Calcium Sulphonate SV and HV are premium heavy-duty greases renowned for exceptional water resistance, mechanical stability, and built in extreme pressure (EP) properties without needing heavy metal additives. They naturally repel saltwater, making them ideal for marine, off-highway, and industrial machinery operating in extreme conditions.
Key Performance Advantages
- Superior Water Resistance: Naturally repels water and prevents emulsification. Standard water washout tests show less than 2% grease loss even at high temperatures, ensuring it stays put under heavy spray.
- Extreme Pressure & Anti-Wear: Unlike traditional lithium-complex greases, the thickener itself provides inherent EP and anti-wear properties. It carries high shock loads without breaking down the lubricating film.
- Corrosion Protection: Provides excellent rust inhibition, even when exposed to saltwater or acidic contaminants.
- Mechanical Stability: Resists thinning (shearing) during intense operation, leading to less leakage and longer intervals between re-greasing.
Due to the robust profile, they are widely used across:
